To have a platform that could be used to easily plug and run a mobile recharge application that has the capacity to support the whole of Telcel's prepaid subscriber base faster, easily and at lower cost. The platform should be able to support the application's high volumes of transactions and data and should also seamlessly blend emerging technologies with legacy system, while also supporting next generation services.

The new mobile recharge application enables Telcel's subscriber base of over 50 million to reload air time with the speed of 80 transactions per second. The platform which will be used to run the application should be able to support this high availability system.
