HOW IT WORKS |
mChoice TM SDP provides an Open Service Architecture that leverages with the existing infrastructure to provide a flexible framework for traditional telecommunication services as well as the next generation of value added services. Applications are not bound to proprietary network nodes and billing systems. With open interfaces for application development, third party developers can rapidly deliver unique, value-added applications, maximizing the usage and value of mobile networks without having to integrate into proprietary network elements.
The web based provisioning module of mChoice TM SDP provides network intelligence and the flexibility to enable 3rd party application providers to test with live traffic and deploy any number of applications from their own site without having to be a burden on the telco site. The architecture also facilitates a smooth transition from the test bed to the live system with minimum human interaction or none at all. This module will simply automate the business processes and allow secure delegation of the Service Provider management. |

mChoice TM SDP – TELCO BENEFITS |
| |
| • |
Can enhance without hSenid support as it is based on JAIN SLEE |
| • |
New technologies/standards can be introduced easily independent of hSenid involvement |
| • |
Good component architecture enables easy and fast integration of services |
| • |
New technologies can be easily plugged in, to be utilized by service providers |
| • |
Operator has flexibility of deciding whom to approach to build new components
- Off-the-shelf components
- Other 3rd party vendors
- hSenid support
| • |
No vendor locking; i.e. operator is not solely dependant on hSenid to make changes/enhancements to the system |
| • |
Use of SBB’s to build a standard based component model allows 3rd party developers to enhance or develop without hSenid’s involvement. Hence allowing operator to approach any 3rd party development entity |
| • |
Easy to use GUI to manage applications and services efficiently in order to monitor content/service providers |
| • |
Billing and charging architecture with comprehensive reporting |
| • |
Reporting module for overall SDP, enabling the operator to monitor all aspects |
| • |
Test and production provisioning which enables first testing under test environment and moving to production environment with ease |
| • |
Flexible Service Level Agreement Framework to control and monitor CP activities and avoid misuse of the system |
mChoice TM SDP – 3RD PARTY BENEFITS |
| |
| • |
hSenid SDP exposes operators’ network services such as IN, SMSC, billing, etc with easy to use APIs. With this, CPs/SPs can easily introduce new services and try out new services without understanding complex protocols |
| • |
hSenid provides two types of APIs:
- Proprietary API (for Web services, Java, etc.)
- JAIN SLEE API
Providers having existing JAIN SLEE applications can deploy on hSenid SDP without any modifications
| • |
Parlay support allows deploying existing parlay applications with minimal modifications |
| • |
Ability to use hSenid test environment to try out new ideas without involving the Operator |
| • |
Flexible and Easy to build and deploy new applications, without a big cost. Can try out new stuff without much trouble to operator |
