Quality Assurance Manager

Reporting to CEO , Operation manager
Job Overview

As a Quality Assurance (QA) Manager you will be given the opportunity to expose yourself to all areas related to Quality Assurance aspects

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Defining and specifying implementation standards, methods and procedures for new applications that require different approaches
  • Management and execution of all phases of Quality Assurance such as setting up test environments, manual and automated testing, administration of configuration management and load testing of web based applications
  • Participation in all QA specific and functional requirement meetings
  • Developing test plan using established standards
  • Developing test scenarios based on business requirements and processes
  • Developing end to end system test cases
  • Testing system modifications prior to implementation
  • Ensuring business requirements are met as specified in functional specifications
  • Managing/Building a QA team
Experience & Qualifications
  • BSc degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in Software Quality
  • Hands on experience in test automation using open source tools
  • Exposure to following technologies/tools/processes will be an added advantage
    • OS : Linux , Windows
    • DB: MySQL, Oracle
    • Process : Extreme Progamming or any other agile
      process
    • Java Technologies (J2EE, J2ME)
