Since its inception, it has grown from an AMPS type analogue telephone service provider to introduce GSM services (Global System for Mobile Communications), putting DST on par with the world's top network operators and service providers.

hSenid Mobile has designed and developed many solutions to DST Brunei and mCMS, Entertainment Server, MMSGate are the main products which enabled DST Brunei to offer unique and innovative services to their subscriber base. mCMS allows DST to extract content from 3rd party content providers and to provide value added services to mobile customers by quickly creating and deploying revenue generating services. Entertainment Server is a system that delivers SMS binary content (i.e. Picture Messages, Operator Logos and Ring tones) to user mobile phones and MMSGate is a middleware application, which helps MMS Gateway of DST Brunei to handle third party application provider connections, which connects to their MMSC. The most recent deployment at DST was mChoice™ Recharge, an electronic pre-paid reload solution which manages the cash-based air-time recharge within the distributor base.
