HOW IT WORKS |
|
USSD gateway connects easily to USSDC and to any session/menu based 3rd party application, such as prepaid top-up and content providing applications (News, Weather, Sports).
hUSSD solutions provides an interface for mobile users to interact with their prepaid
accounts from anywhere around the globe, endowing the customer a value packed service. A simple request made by the roaming mobile users could establish a well
secured session based communication link with another mobile user from anywhere in world or to carry out operations cost effectively.
The connected mobile users can request for information on demand, to be sent to their mobile devices. USSD service users do not need to access any phone specific menu; they simply enter the required USSD command by dialing service digits (e.g. *100#). The services will be displayed in a menu based format and only the service requested will be visible. The subscriber can select the desired option by keying in the relevant digit representing the option.
|
| Text Messaging: |
A method of SMS messaging cost-effectively. Contrasting with SMS alone, USSD offers a real time session oriented service and supports a sequence of exchange of information. USSD-SMS service is advantageous when subscribers are roaming as normal SMS charges would be much higher in comparison to messaging through USSD transactions.
With text messaging or USSD-SMS, users can send SMS messages using several methods, either
at once or using a session or with canned menus, where the user can select predefined
messages. USSD commands are routed to the home mobile network’s HLR, which allows users to access these services while they are roaming in the same way as in home network.
|
| Call back Service: |
| A user friendly menu or a more direct and fast method of using the #* and a given code can be used to gain access. As a result the roaming network automatically calls back from the user’s home network enabling the user to carry out the required request. This allows you to save money by not having to dial your local network from overseas. |
| |
hUSSD allows the users to top-up their prepaid accounts, check balance, and check expiry date while on the move. This is done by dialing the appropriate numbers and selecting options by keying in the relevant digit representing the option. |
