| Job Overview |
As a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer you will be given the opportunity to expose yourself to all areas related to Quality Assurance aspects. |
| Duties & Responsibilities |
| • |
Management and execution of all phases of Quality Assurance such as setting up test environments, manual and automated testing, administration of configuration management and load testing of web based applications |
|
| • |
Defining and specifying implementation standards, methods and procedures for new applications that require different approaches |
|
| • |
Participation in all QA specific and functional requirement meetings |
|
| • |
Developing test plan documentation using established standards |
|
| • |
Developing test scenarios based on business requirements and processes |
|
| • |
Developing end to end system test cases |
|
| • |
Testing system modifications prior to implementation |
|
| • |
Ensuring business requirements are met as specified in functional specifications |
|
| Experience & Qualifications |
| • |
BSc degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent |
|
| • |
A minimum of one year experience in Software Quality Assurance |
|
| • |
Exposure to following technologies/tools/processes will be an added advantage
- OS : Linux , Windows
- DB: MySQL, Oracle
- Process : Extreme Progamming or any other agile
process
- Java Technologies (J2EE, J2ME) |
