Reporting to

CEO

Job Overview You will be responsible for all operations, administration and financial performance of the sbu. The sbu will be running as its own entity and require a strong strategic thinker with a long term focus.
Duties & Responsibilities
Decide on the sbu objectives, policies and programs and set standards and targets.
Assess the performance of the sbu and its activities.
Provide overall direction and management of the sbus utilisation of resources, including personnel, technology and physical assets.
Consult with staff and review their recommendations and reports
Guide the preparation of reports, budgets and forecasts and present them to the ceo and the board
Represent the sbu in negotiations, and at meetings, conventions and seminars, and liaise with other organizations
Select or approve the selection of senior staff
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum of 7-10 years of Senior Management experience, with proven track record of defining and achieving targets
A Masters or MBA from an internationally respected institution will be a requirement, CIM qualified applicants will be considered

Skills & Personal Characteristics

Impeccable written and verbal English skills are a must and additional European languages are of benefit.
Strategic and holistic thinking with financial focus.
Good organisational and time management skills with the aptitude to work under pressure.
Strong leadership skills with ability to coach staff.
Ability to analyze and solve problems with strong decision making skills.
Interested in people, process and resource management.
