| Job Overview |
As a software engineer you will
be given the opportunity to work and experience all areas of software
development life cycle |
| Duties & Responsibilities |
| • |
Active involvement in design and development processes of the company’s products and technologies |
|
| • |
Specification and planning of new product modules and features |
|
| • |
On-site and off-site consulting to customers and integrators around all product SDK’s and performance tuning |
|
| • |
Maintenance of high quality programming standards |
|
| • |
Source code control |
|
| • |
Knack to present and discuss technology with customers in
a competent manner and travel on site where required |
|
| • |
Keep a track of the industry developments/standards and take the initiative to incorporate these into the company technologies |
|
| Experience & Qualifications |
| • |
A relevant degree from a recognized university
or equivalent |
|
| • |
Minimum 2 years software development experience |
|
| • |
At least 1 year experience with Java |
|
| • |
Highly proficient in;
- OOA & OOD
- Design patterns
- Java technologies such as J2SE, J2EE while
J2ME would be an added advantage or PHP
- Database Management Systems (MySQL, Oracle)
- Linux, Open Source tools and applications (Ant,
JUnit, Struts) |

Knowledge in Extreme Programming, Web logic and Jboss would be an added advantage. |
