With the Twenty20 cricket World cup thrilling cricketing audiences around the world, and capturing Cricket lovers with the amplified hype of the game, T20 Cricket has fascinated spectators both young and old equally. In view of this event, hSenid mobile developed a T20 Cricket World cup quiz application to further tie down fans to their seats throughout the entire T20 series. The “T20 Cricket World Cup Quiz” was the 1st of its kind which offered cricket lovers a new way of testing their knowledge. The quiz covered diverse topics based on cricket, ranging from the T20 World Cup, ICC Cricket World Cup, IPL, Champions Trophy, Ashes, World Records, Country Records, to name a few.

The Quiz ran from the 5th to the 21st of June with three leading Mobile Operators in the country, including Dialog, Tigo, and Hutch. With a massive response rate of over 650,000 SMS’s, the quiz became exceptionally popular among the ardent cricketing fans. Since hSenid’s T20 Quiz programme is SMS based, it provided an equal chance for both prepaid and post-paid subscribers to participate and win.

Winners were elected from each Telco based on the highest number of correct answers. While winners were rewarded with fabulous prizes by the Telcos including Mobile Phones, Cricket Jerseys, Dinner Vouchers etc. in contribution hSenid Mobile offered the Telcos a 29” Flat screen colour TV and a high-tech DVD player for the winners.
